- Broad knowledge and management experience in all aspects of supply chain (planning, warehousing and distribution, order fulfillment)
- Capable of translating business needs into supply chain strategy
- Practical, hands-on mentality and he/she likes it to do some operational work also (e.g. Demand planning)
- Capable of taking helicopter view as well as zooming in on details
- Capable of managing an implementation roadmap and continuous improvement routines
- Capable of managing internal and external suppliers
- Engaging team manager
- High focus on quality of execution
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Clear verbal communication including the ability to communicate empathy and be concise
- Unwavering professional presentation, even under pressure
- English, Dutch, German
What will you be doing?
Job context:
- Accountable for supply chain management including managing the S&OP process (EU supply chain team and Chinese team)
- Responsible for the customer service and the ICT department
- Member of the OPPLE Europe Management Team
Your responsibilities:
- On time in full delivery of customer orders
- Inventory level of Opple Europe in line with set targets
- Supply chain cost consisting of Logistics cost (inbound transport, warehousing and outbound transport), staffing and IT
- Translate company strategy into supply chain strategy
- Set up supply chain roadmap and lead the implementation
- Set up continuous improvement routines in all supply chain sub segments
- Manage day to day operation from origin (China plants) to end customer delivery
- Lead Sales and Operations Planning
- Lead contract and operational management of 3PL
- Lead operational management and continuous improvement of the supplying operations
