OPPLE connects to the KNX system from Siemens for the first time!

The Inspiration Centre Utrecht is a large interactive demonstration area of Technische Unie, where they provide training to staff and customers in the area of (smart) lighting solutions.

OPPLE and Siemens, both suppliers of the Inspiration Centre, joined forces to make the Smart Lighting system from OPPLE work seamlessly with the Building Management System from Siemens.

It is for the first time, that wireless lighting based on Bluetooth Low Energy was connected to KNX via the OPPLE Smart Connect box.

The Smart Connect box is an optional additional piece of hardware that enables additional functions of the Smart Lighting System. A very diverse device that allows you to connect your Smart Lighting system to the outside world.

Via Modbus this is perfectly possible: the Smart Conneact Box can be connected to the existing BMS, after which the BMS has full control over the lighting system.
